Chat with the Chacmas
18th/19th March2006

Wynter's Wild Animal Communication workshops are dedicated to understanding the natural world in which we live. On this "Chat with the ChacmaS" workshop, Jenny Trethowan of Baboon Matters will be a guest teacher covering the more practical side of understanding the Baboons, which are so much a part of the lives of Capetonians.

We start the first day with a walk on Klein Slangkop, to see how the baboons live and interact in their natural environment. Jenni will speak about them and their plight, and how we can help the Cape Chacma's live in harmony with the human world. Back at the hotel Wynter will talk about the concept of interspecies communication, showing you how it is possible to communicate with all beings. She will lead you in a series of meditations and excersizes to help still the mind and start connecting with the world of nature. We will work with photographs of the individual Baboons who Jenni knows so well. Wynter will show you how animal communication is possible over any distance. The next morning we will take another walk with the Baboons, applying what we have learnt the day before.
